A few weeks ago, my host family and I went to Niagara Falls đ! The falls are in Ontario and on the boarder of the US. In total, it took us about 7 hours to get there, but on our way we stopped at Desmondâs sisterâs house. Her name is Mary. She and her husband live near Toronto and we stayed at their house for the weekend. We had lunch together and afterwards we left for the falls. Rob and Mary came too. It wasnât cold that day and the sun was shining âď¸. The falls were amazing and the water was sparkling in the sunlight đđ! First, we went to the Canadian falls. They are incredible! I was very surprised, because there werenât many people. Maybe because of Thanksgiving Holiday in the states⌠Therefore we could take some really nice pictures đ¸. After our photo shooting we walked next to the river and went to the city. On our way we saw the American falls too, but they are way smaller than the Canadians. We went to some stores and later in the afternoon, all of us were hungry so we decided to go to the Hard Rock Cafe nearby. Everyone had a burger đ and when we went back outside, after the meal, it was dark. And the falls were beautiful!! They were glowing! Blue, then red and purple. It was amazing đ!
The next day, the whole family came to Mary and Robâs house, but in the morning Desmond, Diana, Samantha, Patrick and I, went shopping in a big mall nearby đ°. It was Black Friday weekend, so there were some deals in the stores. Not many, but everyone found some nice things. Later on, at around 3pm, the family came. We sat in the living room for a while and then, Sam, Pat and I played pool with the younger children and football too.
