Hey everyone!! Another week is over and I think it’s time to switch from German to English 😋
On Monday I met four new girls at school: Cassandra, Maria, Claudia and Larissa. They are in grade 10, too. Maria is in the Regular Program, but the other girls are in the IB Program. There are different school programs at my school: Bilingual Program, English Program and the IB (International Baccalaureate) Program. The students have different subjects and there are different levels of difficulty. I’m in the IB Program and we have our own wing. But we meet all the other students at lunch break at the cafeteria. Maria, Larissa and Cassandra are good friends of two girls in my class. We had lunch together. I have French with Larissa and we started a group project together with Sarah and Dawson. We have to write an essay in French about things we can hear, for example songs, speech,…
In the afternoon Tara, my coordinator from school, visited us at home. She has a very cute puppy named Kodak. Desmond often takes care of him. Later in the evening I went to the dancing lesson with Desmond. He is a spinning teacher and has a dancing class, too. It was soooo much fun!!! He does dancing and aerobics with step boards. His music is very good and I really like this kind of dancing!
On Tuesday I had gym class. On October 2nd is a big race at school. All classes take part in it and we started practicing. All students have to run 2k as fast as possible. I’m the fastest girl in my class. 2k in under 10 minutes. Not bad ☺️😂
For lunch I went home with my friend Sarah. She lives near the school. Erika and Kaylee came along, too.
On Wednesday Sarah was sick and we visited her during lunch break. She was very happy to see us. We were happy, too, because her mother brought some fries for us. We had lunch together. Yesss 😂
Thursday wasn’t very exciting… Ah stop! Desmond went to pick me up after school. He went with his black jeep. When I saw him, I was surprised: “What happened to the car?! Where are the doors??? “ This day the weather was great and Desmond left the doors at home 😂. It’s incredibly awesome to drive the car without doors!!! We went around Châteauguay and to a lake nearby. It was amazing 😍😍
On Friday I had my first quiz at school! Science!! A quiz is like a test. It was very good, but we didn’t get it back this day. I walked home after school, like every day. But it was soooo hot outside!! 28°C! I had a little rest at home and went running. Wrong decision… It was too hot 🔥
In the evening Patrick invited some friends. We watched ‘RV’ and went outside in the garden. We sat together and had a small fire. It was very, very nice and cosy. We had some marshmallows with pop tarts. Chocolate pop tarts are the best! Then we played something like beer pong, without beer and ping pong ball. We used orange juice and marshmallows ☺️😄
At the weekend Diana, Desmond, Kaylee and I went to Mount Royal. That’s a hill in Montreal. It took us an hour to get there, but it was worth it. On the hill is a big park and we took the dogs with us. The sun was shining and we had a beautiful view of Montreal 😍😍 The park is wonderful, too. The squirrels were cute (we saw more than 10!) and there was a small lake with fish and a strange looking duck 😂. Many people brought their own little BBQ. There were birthday parties, too. It was soooo much fun! After our trip we bought some hotdogs 🌭 and poutine. I tried poutine with coleslaw. It was different, but very good 😱😀
